The content of this video-book is a result and summary of thousands of pages and                                                                          over  ten years of work. For this project, I have learned photography and how to operate a                                                                  drone to capture footage, edit the recorded material, and to work it out into videos. I have                                                                  also recorded my writings and combined them with the film footage, resulting in                                                                                    approximately 15-minute-long films, each with its own theme, accompanied by music.

Foreword

In short, the message of the video-book "The Borderless Bridge" can be summarized into the questions "who or what am I", "who are you", "what is our true identity"? When my body ceases to exist, will I disappear? Self-enquiry is the investigation into the nature of our self, a deep dive beneath the surface of personality.

Chapter 1. Married to Life

Awakening and wondering: What or who is the invisible reality? Is the independent persona merely an illusion - and if so, what or who am I? What is meant by the concept of ego? Is it possible to find oneself? If the visible world is a veil that conceals reality, how can one see behind the veil? What is consciousness? God is at the center of all religions, although the term God takes on different forms in various religions and philosophies. Is the conditioned mind a factor that distorts reality into the kind of world that people see?

Chapter 2. The Light reflecting itself

The Light reflecting itself

Is what we see merely a reflection, and if so, what is the source of the reflections? If life is like a white canvas that brings forth what the mind manifests, what is the substance or reality of the canvas? Is God a subject or an object; what is God? And is consciousness something that can be attained or lost?

There is a light that has no opposite. A light that shines in all perceptions, sensations, emotions, imaginations, and thoughts. Even though I cannot experience this light through the senses, it shines even in the depths of the darkest experiences. More about the light within ourselves in the video

Chapter 3. Only Silence knows

Silence is everything; silence is the source of all manifestations. A source without which nothing would exist. Silence is not the opposite of noise. But when the mind becomes quiet, silence begins to speak its wordless language. Silence, consciousness, and God are synonyms for each other. In silence, the ego and its essence become visible. The ego proves to be non-existent, but the belief in the ego, or separateness, forms the foundation of the entire visible world and persona-based reality. But only silence knows!

Chapter 4. Lost

What happens when I live my life from a conditioned pattern of behavior? What am I escaping, defending against, or trying to avoid, without even being aware of it? Would I be willing to look in the mirror and see that what I percieve and experience as the world is a reflection of my own mind? Is it possible to be free, like an open book that is rewritten anew in every moment? Can I free myself from my own projections, from what the mind reflects onto others and the world? When God speaks to me, what or who am I listening to? How does the ego make itself visible, and why is it important for the ego to remain in control? And after all, who or what is the ego taking the control?

Chapter 5. The Dreamer

The Dreamer

Could what we call life be like a dream from which we will eventually awaken? When we awaken and recognize our own reality, who or what is revealed as the dreamer of the dream, and what is the substance of the dreamer and the dreamed character? Where does the dream take place? What is the basis for the feeling of the dreamed character's authenticity, and why do we identify with the dreamed character? Where does the sense of I come from, and if I am not the same as my thoughts, my imagination, my feelings, or my perceptions, what remains when they disappear? Do I exist after my body is no longer present?

Chapter 6. "Seek and you will find"

What does identification mean? Who or what is the factor that leads to identification with the body and conditioning to the mind? When I identify with my body and mind, it seems as if a conscious 'I' resides within my body. I do everything to protect and keep this 'I' alive. I seek answers in the world, but sooner or later I have to surrender. Even though I can never find what I'm looking for in the world, in other people, or in activities, I still feel compelled to search. If we follow the Biblical advice 'seek and you shall find,' what do we ultimately discover?

Chapter 7. The Return of the Prodigal Son

What happens when the prodigal son returns home to the Father? The Bible contains the story of the prodigal son, but what is the true meaning of the narrative? Are we all prodigal sons who have wandered far from home and become lost? And how do we succeed in returning home, and what or where is our true home? Are God, consciousness, and silence the answers to this question? And what is the reality of the questioner and the responder?

Chapter 8. The Reality of a Separate Self

How does the feeling of separation arise, the sense that I am an individual distinct from billions of other people? I wonder why i@tbyronn seems that my body is a solid entity in the world, appearing to have an independent existence separate from me. They say that there is no inside and outside, yet I still experience the world and other people as something different from myself, and that they are separate from me. Everything that is not myself feels external, and despite my efforts, I do not experience oneness with everything. What is the factor that causes the feeling of separation? If I were to recognize the illusory nature of the separate self, would it be possible to live the truth of oneness, to become an embodiment of our unity?

Chapter 9. Thinking and the I thought

Thinking and the “I” thought

"I am my body," "I am an independent thinker," "my mind is located in my head," "I create my thoughts in my head." These are all deeply ingrained beliefs, and we are so convinced of their reality that we do not even question them. But what is the true nature of thinking? If I, as a person, do not create thoughts, then where and how do they originate? Is there a thinker of thoughts? Is it possible to locate the mind? The mind is often spoken of as if it were an independent entity, like a box where thoughts and memories are stored. The mind seems to be at the center of everything, but what happens to the center when the mind becomes silent?
